The state closely monitors the implementation of works in the process of which people may die.
These works are called "high-hazard works».
There are two categories of hazardous work. Let's divide them into "very dangerous" and just "dangerous".
By mid-March this year, the list of "very dangerous" works was quite large.
These included, for example, the operation of mechanical lifts and construction hoists, equipment used in the oil and fat, essential oil, woodworking, food, processing and printing industries.
Under such general formulations it was possible to bring a lot of equipment.
To start performing such work, each company had to conduct an examination of labor protection, then obtain a permit from the State Labor to perform such work and only then begin to perform them.
If the permit was not obtained or obtained incorrectly, the State Labor Office could then prohibit such work.. We once wrote in detail about such cases in this article.
In March this year, the Government revised the lists of dangerous works.
Most of the work and equipment were excluded from the lists altogether, and most of the "very dangerous" work was transferred to the "dangerous" list.
"Dangerous" work can be performed on the basis of a declaration. The essence of the declaration is that the company 5 days before the start of hazardous work notifies the State Labor Service of their performance and the measures taken for labor protection.
The declaration can be submitted electronically. It is not necessary to conduct an examination before submitting the declaration.
Such changes will significantly simplify the work of businesses that use a variety of technological equipment.
